What's the best app, you actually use, that you think people might not know about? I'm not talking about Evernote, Airmail, or Todoist, I want to hear something more interesting than that. I'd like to include several of these in a post on my site, http://staringatphones.com.

I'm planning on quoting what you say here, perhaps with a little editing if needed. I'll include a link back to your site and maybe a photo, so make sure to give me links to your site and photo (on Twitter, etc.)

Thanks to those who submitted! The post is live now 😊 I've linked each of your twitter accounts in the post. https://staringatphones.wordpress.com/2017/05/07/five-obscure-apps/

One obscure app that comes to mind is "Moji Edit." It allows you to express your personality and identity literally. It was founded by two twins and here's a write up about, which goes into more detail about how it works: http://www.smartcompany.com.au/startupsmart/profiles/sydney-startup-founded-by-twins-scores-half-a-million-users-in-one-month/

If you want me to put you in touch with the founders let me know : )

I like Clipper. I know for certain it's on Android. It's basically a clipboard that saves the last 20 text clips you copied into your phone's memory buffer.

Hi Nick,

One app that I love to use is called Opinion. It allows you to create a podcast from your iPhone, without any hassle of complex software or cutting/mixing/etc.

It has a free tier or you can upgrade for a one-off fee, which is a nice change compared to paying for apps monthly or on a per use basis.

I use it to record the Building Task Pigeon podcast. I was looking for a solution that would allow me to quickly and easily record and upload a podcast to platforms such as iTunes, without having to download the file to my computer, edit it and then submit it.

It really has saved me a ton of time, and I enjoy using it as a way of sharing short and interesting stories on what I am doing with Task Pigeon.
