    Hi Luke,

    Interesting to see a startup go after this space as one would assume that business directory businesses died out long ago (at least in their original form).

    Top 4 does however appear to have a unique take on things and if they can get solid results for their clients in such a short amount of time that will obviously hold them in good stead.

    I wonder what approach they are taking to the roll out of their platform. I.e. are they careful in what categories they add and when.

    • Yeh, I find it really interesting. I think the idea is basically that new brands and businesses are looking at ways to promote and attract new clients. One feature I do really love is their “SEO.”

      I’m getting ready to launch a new side project called PayPress – it’s a PR marketplace. So, for example, I’m based in Sydney and I could use Top4 to target people here.

      The other thing I like about it, brands that do have profiles can actually “see” how many people have viewed their profile. There’s a direct way to see the ROI.

      I think the business directory model is in the process of evolving right now. There’s other startup that do directory listings too, and all of them are distinctively different.
